Pulp Mill Holding, the principal shareholder of JSC Arkhbum (corrugated fiberboard division, subsidiary of JSC Arkhangelsk PPM), announces new postings.

Starting from January 27, 2021, Irina Sherstneva, ex-head of Voronezh subsidiary of the company, is the new Director General of JSC Arkhbum.

“On behalf of the management of the holding, I would like to wish every success to Ms. Irina Alekseevna. She faces a challenging task of further improving all business processes and increasing the production efficiency.” — said Mr. Krupchak, Chief Investment Officer of Pulp Mill Holding, member of the Board of Directors, JSC Arkbum.

Irina Galakhova, ex-Director General of JSC Arkhbum, has been appointed as the head of the holding’s Investment project group. In this new capacity she will coordinate the implementation of the new investment project of Pulp Mill Holding — construction of white lined chipboard plant ARKHBUM LINER in Moscow Oblast.

As previously reported, its capacity will exceed 500 thous. tons per year.

The plant will manufacture two main products: testliner (chipboard for flat linerboards of a corrugated fiberboard) and fluting (recycled fiber corrugated sheet).

“This project is aimed at selling testliner and fluting to both our own cardboard manufacturer, JSC Arkhbum, and all active consumers of these products.” — told Mr. Krupchak. — Increasing the amount of reclaimed waste paper is extremely beneficial to us for more than one reason. Among the main are creation of a regulated reclamation market, reduction of product cost, securing social stability (creation of jobs to collect, sort, and pack waste paper), increase in tax proceeds, and conservation through separate waste collection and recycling.“

Mr. Krupchak also mentioned that products of ARKHBUM LINER will be targeted for domestic market and for export, mainly to European markets, thanks to their high quality and competitive cost price.
