“Arkhbum Tissue Group” is preparing an Investment Agreement for construction of the second and third phases of the plant

According to Vladimir Krupchak, Chief Investment Officer of Pulp Mill Holding and member of the Boards of Directors of Arkhangelsk PPM and JSC Arkhbum Tissue Group, construction of finished product storage for the second and third phases of the plant is completed. Preparations for commissioning of the facility are underway.

JSC Arkhbum Tissue Group (IP Vorsino, Kaluga Oblast, member of Pulp Mill Holding Group) launched OMET line (Italy) for production of tissue under the trade mark “Soffione”. Currently it is being manufactured for sale.

Guarantee testing of OMET line (150 tons or 150 mn pieces per month) is scheduled for April this year.

Also in April, Arkhbum Tissue Group will conduct guarantee testing of the third converting line Futura (Italy) with a capacity of 230 mn toilet paper rolls and paper towel rolls per year, including one packaging machine Plus Line (Italy), automated pelletizer, automated loaders Elettric 80 (Italy), as well as pallet wrapper Bema (Italy). As of today, the company finished their installation and is proceeding with performance testing.

Arkhbum Tissue Group plans to begin sales of products manufactured on the third converting line in March 2021.

The company expects a 10  % growth of its share of the Russian hygienic tissue products market.

According to Vladimir Krupchak, Chief Investment Officer of Pulp Mill Holding and member of the Boards of Directors of Arkhangelsk PPM and JSC Arkhbum Tissue Group, construction of finished product storage for the second and third phases of the plant is completed. Preparations for commissioning of the facility are underway.

He also revealed that Arkhbum Tissue Group is preparing an Investment Agreement for construction of the second and third phases of the plant, which the company intends to sign with government of Kaluga Oblast, JSC “Kaluga Oblast Development Corporation”, and Industrial Park “Vorsino”.

As previously reported, after the second and third phases are launched, the overall production capacity of Arkhbum Tissue Group will grow to 210 thous. tons per year.

Estimated aggregate cost of these two projects is more than 16 bn Rubles.
